Congratulations to 2017 President’s Putter champion Will Dugdale who qualified to play in the 2026 Senior Open Championship at Gleneagles, held at the end of July. Will shot a four under 68 to come joint first in qualifying at Glenbervie. In the first round at Gleneagles Will shot a superb 69, to lie in the top 25, leading several major winners including Padraig Harrington. Unfortunately Will suffered from some back spasms early in his second round and had to withdraw. Nevertheless, a great achievement and Will aims to qualify again next year. The tournament was won by Jerry Kelly.
