The Captain had the recent great privilege to represent OCGS as one of the 47 Clubs and Societies to play in the ‘Grand Match’ to celebrate the official opening of the new holes at Aldeburgh. He and Josh Fallows took on the very strong pair of Richard Palmer and Alex Mair (they had the cheek of asking for a shot!). A great match followed but it was Richard and Alex that came out on top by 2 holes. Aldeburgh won by 78 holes to 56 and if you haven’t played the course recently you absolutely must.
