Members will be sad to hear of the news that John Churchill, elder brother of fellow Society member Charles, has died, aged 91. John attended Trinity Hall, Cambridge, and played in three University matches in 1956, 1957 and 1958. John was a longtime member of Sunningdale Golf Club and captained the club in 2005. He was a great supporter of younger members’ golf at Sunningdale and assisted several members of the Society in joining the club.
